JUNIOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (JRDO)
No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos.
Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree in Agri/ Horti/ A.H & Vety/ Fisheries/ RDAP/ Rural Development/ Home Science (with Specialisation in Human Development), a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management, or a Post Graduate Degree in such subjects relating to Livelihood improvement in rural areas, with at least 55% marks at P.G Level from recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on 27/09/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.43,700-97,000/-
The selected candidates will be initially posted in the Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Blocks under the Block Development Officer.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Group Discussion and Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination will be held at Shillong and Tura tentatively in the 2nd week of October, 2019.
