1. JUNIOR TRANSLATOR/ JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR
No. of Vacancies: 275 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
ii) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 02 years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2021.
Pay Scale: Rs.35400 — Rs.112400
2. SENIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.

Pay Scale: Rs.44900 — Rs.142400
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two (02) years.
Note:- Only Male candidates are eligible for the posts of Junior Translator in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) and Paper-II (Descriptive Paper). The Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) will be held on 06/10/2020 and Paper-II (Descriptive Paper) will be held on 31/01/2021.
Note:- Posts of Junior Translator in BRO has stringent requirement of physical and medical standards including Physical Efficiency Test (For details please see the officially released advertisement). Examination of such physical and medical standards will be conducted after the final selection of candidates by BRO.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
