Kandla Port Trust (KPT) is inviting application for Apprentices Training and Engineering faculties for the year 2015-16 in the following Trades – Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Wireman, Welder, Technician (Electrical/ Mechanical) and Programming & System Administration Assistant. KANDLA PORT TRUST INVITES APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICES TRAINING AND ENGINEERING FACULTIES FOR THE YEAR 2015-16. LAST DATE — 15/07/2015

 

1. Fitter: 3 posts.
Qualification: Class 10 pass and ITI certificate in the respective trade.

2. Mechanic (Diesel): 4 posts.
Qualification: Class 10 pass and ITI certificate in the respective trade.

3. Electrician: 5 posts.
Qualification: Class 10 pass and ITI certificate in the respective trade.

4. Programming & Systems Administration Assistant: 4 posts.
Qualification: Class 12 pass and and ITI (NCVT) certificate in the trade of Computer Operator-cum-Programming Assistant.

5. Wireman: 3 posts.
Qualification: Class 8th pass and ITI certificate in the respective trade.

6. Welder: 1 post.
Qualification: Class 8th pass and ITI certificate in the respective trade.

7. Technician (Electrical): 3 posts.
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

8. Technician (Mechanical): 3 posts.
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Age Limit: Below 28 years as on 10/09/2015.

 

Stipend: Selected candidates will go for Training which will be minimum 01 year duration. During training period candidates will be paid stipend on per day basis, i.e. Rs.190/-, Rs.218 & Rs.245 during first year, second year and third year respectively. For the post Technician (Electrical/ Mechanical), Rs.3542/- will be paid per month.

 

Notes:
The candidates applying for any of the trades mentioned above should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training for the same trade.
For Sr. No. 1 to 6: The candidates should have passed the respective trade from ITI in the year 2010 or thereafter.
For Sr. No. 7 & 8: The candidates should have passed the final examination of Diploma Engineering in the year 2012 (Oct/Nov, 2012) or thereafter

 

How to Apply: Candidates willing to apply may prepare their application on plain paper giving full particulars regarding the post applied for, name of candidate, address, nationality, religion whether SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped, date of birth, educational qualification, etc.
Enclose the application with copies of relevant documents such as Qualification certificate, age proof certificate, caste certificate and etc.
