KSET— Online Application is invited for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer/ Assistant Professors – 2014. Test to be conducted on Nov 30,2014 in 32 subjects at 11 Nodal Centres across the Karnataka State. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their Application form through online mode (see URL below). Educational Qualification norms and short details are given below —
Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer/ Asst. Professors – 2014.
Educational Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree or equivalent with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PD) in subjects Science, Humanities (including languages), Social science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic science and Etc.
(ii) Candidates who have appeared and awaiting result or will be appearing Master’s degree (final year) may also appear. Such candidates shall require to produce Degree certificate of passing securing 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD) within two years from the date of KSET Examination.
Candidates shall appear for KSET examination in their relevant subject of their postgraduation only, in case the candidate did not find the subject of his post graduation in the list of KSET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

Age Limit: There in no upper age limit to apply for KSET Examination.
KSET will be conducted on Nov 30, 2014 in 32 subjects at 11 Nodal Centres across the Karnataka State. For list of Subjects and Examination Centre, please go through the officially released advertisement (See PDF below).
Examination Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Examination Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD and Rs.800/- for rest of Categories). See the PDF below for classification of Categories.
The examination fee / late fee have to be paid through bank challan only. Afterregistration for online application candidates can take the printout of challan (Bank Copy, KSET Copy & candidates copy) and make the payment as detailed in the challan (i.e. Exam. Fee + bank commission of Rs.20/-) in any of the SBM branches.
KSET copy of the challan has to be submitted along with the hard copy of the application form to respective Nodal center.

After successful submission of Online Application form, candidates shall print-out the system generated user submitted Application form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card.
Candidates shall retain the Admission Card with them safely and shall send the print-out of system generated Application form and Attendance Slip to the Nodal Centre where candidate opt to apply for.
Candidates shall also enclose attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Caste and Etc.
