Lower Division Clerk, Fireman, Storekeeper and Durwan at Kashipur Gun & Shell Factory and Ambajhari Ordnance Factory.

Under Ministry of Defence, Central government’s Kashipur Gun and Shell Factory is recruiting 21 person for the post of “Lower Division Clerk”, “Firemen” and “Storekeeper” whereas Ambajhari Ordnance Factory is recruiting 50 persons for the post of “Storekeeper” and “Durwan”. Details given below –

Post: Lower Division Clerk: 02 nos. (OBC-01, SC-01)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass candidate with ability to type 35 words per minute in English computer typing and 30 words per minute in Hindi typing may apply for the post.
Age: 18 years to 27 years
Salary: Rs. 5200-Rs. 20,200

Post: Firemen: 09 nos. (General-04, OBC-02, SC-03)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates may apply for the post. Candidates should be minimum 165 cm in height (162.5 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest (expanded/unexpanded): 85 cm/81.5 cm. Weight: minimum 50 KG
Age: 18 years to 25 years

Storekeeper: 10 nos. (General-05, OBC-01, ST-04)
Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass Candidate may apply for the post. Computer and level course pass from DOAEC is desirable.
Age: 18 years to 27 years.
Salary: same as above

For all the above mentioned posts, the age of the candidates should be counted as on 31st Dec 2011. Age relaxation: SC/ST-05 years OBC-03 years and PH candidate-as per government norms.
Candidate will be selected through Written Exam and Interview. For the post of Firemen; physical measurement will be taken first and then endurance test. Endurance test will be of – (1) Walking of 183 metres within 96 seconds Laden weight of 63.5 KG, (02) Rope climbing of 3 metres, (03) 2.7 m of hoping and (04) 1.6 km Race within 6 min.

Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass candidate may apply for the post. Candidate with computer knowledge is desirable.
Age: within 27 years
Salary: Rs. 5202 – Rs. 20,200. Grade pay: Rs. 1900

Post: Durwan: 24 nos. (General-10, OBC-07, SC-02, ST-0 to) among them ex-serviceman-02.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates with physically fit without any disease may apply for the post.
Age: within 20 years to 27 years.
Salary: Rs. 5202 – Rs. 20,200. Grade pay: Rs. 1900
