1. Publicity Assistant: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1)
Qualification: Graduate with knowledge of current national / international affairs. Must have flair for writing articles. Preference will be given to those having experience in Journalism and knowledge of producing journals, pamphlets etc.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900/-
2. Librarian: 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline and Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.4100/-
3. Surveyor: 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and Senior Surveyorship Examination pass from the West Bengal Survey Institute (Bandel) or 2 (two) years course in Survey from the Industrial Trainning Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/-
4. Assistant Planner (Socio-Economic): 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics / Statistics / Geography / Social Science with 50% marks in aggregate and 2 (two) years Experience in the field of Socio Economic Planning. Knowledge in computer is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-
5. Planning Assistant (Socio-Economic): 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Honours Graduate in Economics / Statistics / Political Science / Geography / Mathematics / Sociology with 2 (two) years Experience in Planning and Research. Knowledge in computer is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900/-
6. Assistant Law Officer: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Law Graduate and must be enrolled as an Advocate and must have 03 three years of experience in the legal field. Candidates shall have been empanelled as an Advocate on behalf of any Government Department / Government Undertaking / Local Bodies / Statutory Authority for at least 1 (one) year.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400/-
Age Limit: Between 27 to 35 years as on 01-01-2014 for the post of Assistant Law Officer and between 18 to 40 years for rest of all posts.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination or any other method as per decision taken by the authority. Selection steps will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
Admit Card for the Examination will have to be downloaded from the website, which will be available in due course.
Application Fee: Candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.150/- and Processing Fee of Rs.50/- through any branches of United Bank of India and is to be deposited to Account No. – 0088050006798 vide Fee Payment Challan which will be generated automatically after successful registration of on-line application.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES BUT SUCH CANDIDATES SHALL PAY PROCESSING FEE OF RS.50/- ONLY THROUGH BANK.
N.B. : Bank will charge Rs. 20/- only for each transaction and such bank’s charges shall be borne by the applicant.

After registration and completion of data submission for on-line application, a Challan will be generated which will have to be printed and taken to any branch of U.B.I. after two working days for payment of fee. The Bank will receive in cash the application fee and or processing charges as the case may be plus Bank Charges printed therein.
After deposition of the fee / processing charges, the application will be deemed to be submitted. Candidates will receive SMS or Email of application confirmation within 02 days.
DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT OR DOCUMENTS TO THE COMMISSION AT THIS STAGE.
Last Date: Last date for Registration for on-line application is 07.08.2014 and application fee along with processing charges must be deposited to the Bank by 11.08.2014.
