A) Direct Recruitment
1. Chief Engineer (M.O.):02 Nos. (OBC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: MOT 1st Class (Combined or Motor) Certificate
Candidates must have 3 years’ experience as Chief Engineer or 4 years combined experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
Age Limit: Maximum-37 years
Pay Scale: Rs.32,900/- Rs.58,000/-
2. Engineer-in- Charge (M.O.): 02 Nos. (OBC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: MOT 2nd Class (Combined or Motor) Certificate.
Candidates must have 2 years’ experience as independent Watch – Keeping Engineer on board a Foreign-going ship
Age Limit: Maximum-30years
Pay Scale: Rs.20,600/- Rs. 46,500/-
B) Special Direct Recruitment for PWDs
(i) Lower Division Clerk:01 Nos. (HH-01)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or its equivalent Examination
Candidates must have knowledge of Computer Operation
Age Limit: Maximum-30years
Pay Scale: Rs.16,300/- Rs.38,200/-
C) Special Direct Recruitment Drive for ST
(i) Fire Engine Driver-cum- Pump Operator:01 Nos. (ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent examination.
Candidates must possess a Certificate of training in Fire Fighting, valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence for at least 5years, sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipment, Appliances and maneuvering of Foam Crash Tender and able to maintain log book and other relevant records.
Candidates must possess a sound health and able to conduct, Supervise & attend different fire drills and parades.
Experience: Candidates must have at least 6 years’ experience in Fire Fighting work out of which at least 2 years’ experience in driving various Fire Appliances like Crash Tender & Jeep Fire Tender
Age Limit: Maximum-36 years
Pay Scale: Rs.16,300/- Rs.38,200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
