Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) is inviting application for engagement of Assistant Scientific Officer and Assistant Engineer (Civil) on contractual basis initially for one year, for Hydraulic Study Department. 1. ASSISTANT SCIENTIFIC OFFICERS
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Geology/ Electronics/ Environmental Engineering. or any other relevant subject connected with Hydraulic Engineering and research OR First class degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology
Experience: 2yrs post qualification experience on research / investigation / studies pertaining to river hydraulics and / or allied subjects with knowledge of computer application
2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos.
Qualification: First class degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Experience: 2 years post qualification experience on river training works / estimation of river related works with knowledge of computer application.
Age Limit (For both posts): Maximum 30 years as on last date of submission of application.
The engagement to the above vacancies are on contractual basis which will be initially for one year and may be extended further upon sole discretion of KoPT.
Fixed Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.26000/- per month
