High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital is inviting application for the post of “Law Clerks (Trainee)” on contractual basis for a fixed term of one year. Advt. No. – 02/Law Clerks (Trainee)/2013. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format within last date of application. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
LAW CLERKS (TRAINEE)
Number of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Fresh Law Graduate from reputed Law Institution who have not started practice as an advocate or engaged in any other profession or service.
(Advocates up to 05 years of practice can also apply, but they have to surrender their license to the Bar Council before joining, if selected).
Those who have appeared in LL.B. (Final) in 2012-13 Examination and are awaiting results may also apply.
Essential knowledge: Candidates must have proper knowledge in Computer application such as MS Word, Date Entry.
Age Limit: between 21yrs to 26yrs as on 10-09-2013
Monthly Honorarium: Rs.20,000/-
Selection of the candidates will be through Interview which will be held at Nainital. Exact date and venue of Interview will be informed in due course through the official website of High Court of Uttarakhand
The engagement to the post is on contractual basis for a fixed term of one year and may be terminated any time without notice.

The Application form must be enclosed with a Postal Order or Bank Draft of Rs.150/– as Application Fee drawn in favour of – Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital.
Candidates must enclose the duly attested copies of —
- High School Mark sheets , Intermediate Mark sheet and Graduation/ PG Mark sheet
- Age proof certificate (High school certificate can be given)
- Computer knowledge certificate
- Any other essential documents/ testimonials
- Two Self-Address envelope (5×10 cms) with affixed postal stamps of Rs.22/-
