Ministry of Defence — 222 ABOD, Pin-909 222, c/o 99 APO, is recruiting 35 Lower Division Clerk, Fireman, Messenger and Mazdoor. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see PDF below) along with attested copies of testimonials. Selection of the candidates will be through written test/ Interview. Educational Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

222 ABOD, PIN – 909222, C/O 99 APO REQUIRES 35 LDC, FIREMAN, MESSENGER AND MAZDOOR. LAST DATE – 29/08/2014 (5.9.2014)

1. Lower Division Clerk: 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Class 12 or equivalent and shall have ability to type 35 words per minute or 30 words per minute on Computer in English or Hindi respectively.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

2. Fireman: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

3. Messenger: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

4. Mazdoor: 30 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—7; ST—12; OBC—3)
Qualification: Matriculation pass.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

Note: Out of 30 vacancies, 03 vacs are reserved for Ex-Serviceman and 3 for PWD candidates.

Beside educational qualification, candidates shall also meet the standard Physical requirement (See the PDF file given below for details).

Age Limit: Between 18 years to 25 years as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Computer typing test will be there for the post of LDC.
Based on the marks scored in the written test, qualifying in typing test and interview, final merit list will be prepared.
Call letters will be sent to the eligible candidates mentioning date and venue of Test/Interview.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see the PDF file given below for Application format) along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility such as Educational Qualification Certificate, Age proof, Caste certificate and Etc. Also paste two Passport size photographs duly attested by Gazetted Officer, one on right corner of application and one on Call letter
Enclose one self-addressed envelope with affixed postal stamp of Rs.25/- on it.
All the testimonials shall be attested by Gazetted Officer.

Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures shall reach by ordinary / Registered/ speed post at the following address in sealed envelope — “222 ABOD, PIN – 909222, C/O – 99 APO”.

The last date of receipt of application is 29/08/2014 (05/09/2014 for candidates from Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep)
