GUJARAT HIGH COURT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 20 LEGAL ASSISTANT. LAST DATE — 08/11/2019
LEGAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Law from any recognized University or Institution. Candidates studying in the Fifth Year of a Five Year Law Course, can also apply for the post.
ii) Basic knowledge of Computer Application/ Operation.
iii) Acquaintance of vernacular Language.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 08/11/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.20000 per month.
The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of 11 (Eleven) months, extendable on periodical basis, upto a maximum period of 03 (Three) years, subject to the approval of the Honourable the Chief Justice.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Viva-Voce Test (Oral Interview).
The tentative date of Written Test is 08/12/2019. The Written Test will be conducted at Ahmedabad. Viva-Voce Test will be conducted tentatively in the Month of January/ February 2020.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.300/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Gujarat High Court. See released advertisement for more details.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Gujarat High Court — www.gujarathighcourt.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 21/10/2019 to 08/11/2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO GUJARAT HIGH COURT AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
