1. PSYCHIATRIST IN W.B.G.S. UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONAL ADMINISTRATION, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Medical qualification.
ii) Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry recognized by Medical Council of India.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 36 years as on 01.01.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600/- – Rs.42, 000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-.
2. LIBRARIAN IN THE GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGICAL COLLEGES IN WBGS UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: A good academic record with at least a high 2nd class (B+) or 55% marks in Master Degree in Library Science or equivalent plus a 2nd class Master Degree in a subject other than Library Science from a recognized University.
Desirable: i) Good power of expression in Bengali- spoken and written.
ii) Knowledge in any Indian Language, other than the mother tongue and English.
iii) Experience in the post of Librarian in any recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Maximum 36 years as on 01.01.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600/- – Rs.39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/-.
3. REGISTRAR IN THE GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGICAL COLLEGES IN WBGS UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) A degree of a recognized University.
ii) Adequate knowledge of Govt. accounts.
iii) Knowledge of Bengali- spoken and written.
Desirable: Experience in conducting examination.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- – Rs.42, 000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-.

Note: The candidates should have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC. Such benefits are also available up to the age of 45 years for PWD candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. If the number of applications received is large in number, the candidates will be shortlisted for Interview on the basis of either higher qualifications in the relevant subjects/ higher standard of marks/ grade obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed or on the basis of a Screening Test.
