Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) is recruiting 5201 males/ females for the post of – “Apprentice Development Officers”. An Apprentice Development Officer will have to undergo Theoretical & Field Sales Training and on successful completion of apprenticeship training they will be appointed as Development Officer on probation.

Remuneration: During apprentice period, remuneration of Rs.19165 per month will be given.

Qualification Required: Candidates shall possess the Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai
Preference will be given to those candidates who possess Master Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing.

Experience Required: 
For LIC employees: minimum 3yrs of after confirmation in Class III post
For LIC agents: Not less than 5yrs (for Urban Area) or 4yrs (for Rural Area) as per terms laid by the corporation.
Others: Nil

Age Limits: between 21yrs to 30yrs as on 1-11-2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be made on basis of Online Test and Interview. Candidates who qualify Online test may only summon for Interview.

On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choice of two hours duration comprising of the following two papers:
1. Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability.
2. General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary.

On-line test will be held at the respective centre, tentatively on Saturday, 02.02.2013 and Sunday, 03.02.2013.

Application fee: Rs.500/- in cash through any branch of State Bank of India. After online registration, a system generated fee challan will be appeared. Candidates should print-out that challan and deposit the Application fee.
After applying on-line, the candidates should obtain a system generated print-out of the application on A-4 Size Paper and retain it after signing the same. There is no need to send any print-out form/ documents to anywhere.
