Judicial Department, Writers’ Building, Kolkata —01, Govt. of West Bengal, is recruiting 36 persons for the posts of “Lower Division Clerk (Grade—C)” and “Lower Division Clerk (Grade—D)”. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. The eligibility norms and criteria in brief is given below. Advertisement No. 2/12—
1. Lower Division Clerk (Gr—C): 12 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—3; ST—1; BC—2; PH—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and knowledge in Computer typing and computer application.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.10000/- per month.
2. Lower Division Clerk (Gr—D): 24 Nos. (Gen—11; SC—6; ST—2; BC—4; PH—1)
Qualification: Class VIII pass from any recognized school/ board/ Madrasha.
Consolidated remuneration: Rs.8000/- per month.
Age limits: candidates must be within 18yrs to 40rs as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; BC—3yrs and PH—2yrs.
The engagement in the posts is purely on contractual basis for a period of one year only. Renewal or further extension of years is completely depends on competent authrority.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format or application form can be also neatly typed on plain paper as per issued format (link given below).
The application form should be enclosed with supporting documents in proof of Qualification, Age, Caste, and Etc.
Candidates should enclose one Self-Addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs.10/- affixed on it.

Actually on 29th it was prepared by the office person but was released officially on 30th Aug. on the govt. website- wb.gov.in. Therefore the date of released will be taken into account not the date of preparation of the advertisement.
