Total no. of vacancies (including all above trades): 237 Nos. Out of them 5 Nos. posts is reserved for PH candidates and 23 Nos. posts for Ex-Serviceman.
Qualification: Candidates must possess NCVT Certificate in the respective trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder in respective trade.
For the post of Examiner — NCVT Certificate in trade (failing which by ITI/ Diploma/ Certificate) of Machinist/ Fitter General or Turner
For the post of H.T. Opt — NCVT Certificate in trade of Forger and Heat treater failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder in respective trade.
For the post of Fitter (Electronics) — NCVT Certificate in trades of Fitter (Electronics) or Electronic Mechanic failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder in respective trade.
For the post of Miller — NCVT Certificate in the trades of Miller or Machinist failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder in respective trade.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on 03/05/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman—as per norms.
Selection Steps: Selection will be through Written Test of 100 marks and Trade Test (Practical).
