Machine Tool Prototype Factory, Ambarnath, under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 40 Nos. “Labour (Group-C)” in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200/- and grade pay of Rs.1800/-. MACHINE TOOL PROTOTYPE FACTORY, AMBARNATH, REQUIRES 40 LABOUR (GROUP-C). LAST DATE – 23/05/2014.

Name of the Post: LABOUR 
Number of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (Gen—21; SC—6; ST—3; OBC—10). Out of them 6 reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass or equivalent examination.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 32 years as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/- plus other allowances as per norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination of 100 marks and Trade test. Written test will be objective type and OMR based. The trade test shall be only qualifying in nature without any marks.
Candidates who will qualify the Written test will be called for Trade test. For more details and syllabus, see the below given PDF file.
Date and venue of examination will be notified later to the eligible candidates through email/sms. Candidates may download their admit card through online system in due course.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- alongwith convenience charge of Rs.5/- (Total Rs.55/-). Fee is to be paid through online mode only during submission of online Application form.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST/ PH AND EX-SERVICEMAN. 

How to Apply: Apply online only through the official website of the factory – www.ofb.gov.in (See live URL to Application form given below)
During submission of online application, candidates will require to upload their passport size image and signature.
Upon successful submission of online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out the Registration slip and shall retain it safely for future correspondence.
Follow the instruction available on the officially released advertisement on how to apply online.

Last Date of Online Application: 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement officially, i.e. 23/05/2014.
