Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is recruiting 319 Security Guard (T&S), Clerk (OI) and Translator (Tr.). Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (offline) or through Online mode from the website of MCL. Ref. No. MCL/MP&R/Recruitment/ 2014/166. Educational Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. Security Guard T&S Gr.G
Number of Vacancies: 303 Nos. (Gen—158; SC—43; ST—66; OBC—36)
Qualification: Matriculation of equivalent
Essential: Only Ex-Army/ Ex. BSF personnel or NCC/A certificate holders or Sportsman of All India repute are only eligible to apply.
Age: As per norms. (see advt. given below)
Basic Pay: Rs.16877.86 per month
2. Clerk (O.L) Gr.III
Number of Vacancies: 5 Nos. (Gen—4; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass with Hindi as one of the subject OR Matric with certificate in Hindi like Prabhakar, Praveshika etc.
Age: 18yrs to 30yrs as on 31/3/2014.
Basic Pay: Rs.16458.90 per month
3. Translator (Tr.) OL Clerical Gr.III
Number of Vacancies: 11 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—1; ST—2; OBC—1)
Qualification: B.A. or Equivalent with Hindi and English. Preference will be given to the candidates who have Diploma in Hindi translation.
Age: 18yrs to 30yrs as on 31/3/2014.
Basic Pay: Rs.16877.86 per month
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. The candidates qualified in Written test will be called for Interview.
Date, time and venue of selection steps will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course through Registered post and email.

Online mode: For online application, candidates shall visit the official website of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd — www.mcl.gov.in (See URL below). The Online Application form shall be available from 10/03/2014 to 31/03/2014.
After applying online, candidate is required to take a printout of the Application Form, sign at the space provided, paste recent passport size color photograph and send the same to the address given below.
Offline Mode: To apply offline/hard copy, simply download the Application form from the website of MCL , fill the mandatory information, paste recent passport size colour photograph, sign at space provided & send the application form to the address given below.
