Coal India Ltd. is recruiting 1080 persons for the Post of “Management Trainee”.

Coal India Limited is recruiting 1080 persons for the post of ‘Management Trainee”. Recruitments will be on following trades—Engineering, System, Environment, Geology and Geo physics, Material Management, Finance and Accounts, Personnel and H.R, Sales and Marketing. Details with required qualification were given below.

Engineering: Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mineral, Electronics and Telecommunication, Industrial and Mining Engineering Degree (B.E/B.Tech) Course pass candidates with minimum 60% marks in total may apply for the post. On particular trades, B.Sc.  Engineering course pass candidates may also apply.

Vacancies:
Mining: 319 (Gen-141, OBC-74, SC-70, ST-34)
Electrical: 159 (Gen-82, OBC-42, SC-23, ST-12)
Mechanical: 145 (Gen-75, OBC-39, SC-21,ST-10)
Civil: 50 (Gen-26, OBC-12, SC-7, ST-5)
Industrial Engineering: 9 (Gen-5, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-2)
Chemical/ Mineral: 20 (Gen-9, OBC-6, SC-2,ST-3)
Electronics and Telecommunication: 7 (Gen-5, SC-1, OBC-1)

System: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology’s Degree course pass candidates with minimum 60% marks in total may apply for the post. M.C.A. done candidates may also apply.
Vacancies: 10 nos. (Gen-7, OBC-2, SC-1)

Environment: Post Graduate degree/ Diploma Course pass in Environment Engineering with minimum 60% marks in total may apply. Graduate in Engineering in any stream with Post Graduate degree/ diploma course in Environment with 60% marks in total may also apply.
Vacancies: 13 nos. (Gen-9, OBC-3, SC-1)

Geology and Geophysics: M.Sc/ M.Tech course in Geology, Geophysics or Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks in total may apply.
Vacancies:
Geology: 31 (Gen-15, OBC-6, SC-7, ST-3)
Geophysics: 6 (Gen-5, OBC-1)

Material Management: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering’s Degree course pass candidates M.B.A/ Post graduate diploma course in management with minimum 60% marks in total may apply for the post.
Vacancies: 17 (Gen-10, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-1)

Finance and Accounts: Chartered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy course pass candidates may apply.
Vacancies: 133 (Gen-65, OBC-37,SC-20, ST-11)

Personnel and Human Resource: Graduate done candidates, in any stream, with minimum 60% marks in M.B.A. (Human Resource Specialization) course may apply. Graduate, in any stream, candidates with Master degree or Post graduate diploma course in Social Science or Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management with minimum 60% marks in total may also apply.
Vacancies: 136 (Gen-70, OBC-36, SC-20, ST-10)

Sales and Marketing: Graduate, in any stream, with M.B.A. or with total marks of 65% in Management Post graduate diploma course (as Specialization in Marketing Major) may apply.
Vacancies: 19 (Gen-9, OBC-3, SC-3, ST-4)

For all the above given posts, SC/ST candidates will receive cut-off of 5% marks in required percentage of marks given above. Fresher candidates/ candidates who have appeared in final this year may also apply but in such cases, candidates will need to show pass mark sheet within 31 July.

Age should be within 30 years as on 31-3-2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST- 5yrs, OBC-3 yrs and PH-10 yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500

Selection of candidates will be through Written Test which will be of Objective Multiple Choice Types. There will be two papers. First paper will contain—General Awareness and Aptitude. Second paper will be on topics of Technical Aptitude. Each paper consists of 100 questions of 100 marks.
Selected candidates will be called for Interview, candidates may download call letter from the website.

How to Apply: Application can be made only through Online system within 4th June through official website of Coal India Limited: http://www.coalindia.in. Before applying Online, candidates should deposit processing fee of Rs. 500 through Demand Draft, which will be in favour of—Coal India Limited, and write payable at- Kolkata. SC/ST and PH candidates will not need to pay any fee.
Now after registering through online, an acknowledgement slip will appear on computer screen, candidates should make print-out of that slip. This acknowledgement slip should be send through postal service along with documents—(i) Attested copy of Birth certificate, (ii) Attested copy of Madhyamik pass certificate, (iii) Attested copy of Caste certificate for SC/ST and OBC candidates and PH certificate for PH candidates, (iv) 2 nos. recent color passport size photo (one pasted on slip and other enclosed), (v) Original Demand Draft.

On the top of the envelope, containing application, super scribe: Management Trainee (Discipline).

Last date to apply: Application should reach within 13th June 2011.
