Qualification: Candidates should have done full time Engineering Degree Course in B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Sc (Engineering). Candidates should have passed out in 2011 or in 2012. Candidates who will appear the final year exams are also eligible to apply but they should be sure to acquire the prescribed percentage of marks. For eligible percentage of marks refer the Advt. from the official website of Engineers India Ltd. (web address given below).
Age limit: should be within 25 years as on 1/7/2012. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST- 5yrs and Others—as per govt. norms.
Pay Scale: During training period of one year, monthly emolument will be Rs.25000 + Rs.5000 (for accommodation & transport purpose)
After successful completion of training, monthly pay scale will be in range of Rs.24900— Rs.50500.
Selection Steps: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Eligible candidates will be called for written test and then for Intervew.
Written test is likely to be hold on the month of July 2012.
Written Test will be of Objective types and will be in two sections — (i) Technical Question—questions will be on relevant discipline and (ii) General Aptitude which will covers—Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Reasoning and English Language.
Duration of Test- 2 hrs. There will be negative markings for wrong answer. Questions papers will be in English only.

Registration Fee: Candidates willing to apply online has to pay registration fee of Rs.350 (including bank charges). The fee is to be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India by Pay-in-slip (Fee payment challan). Candidates should print-out pay-in-Slip challan from the official website of EIL. Fill the slip carefully, fee should be deposit in a specially opened account (No. 32298420483) (Branch Code: 09996).
After depositing the fee, revisit the website of EIL and fill the application form. After clicking the button ‘final submission’ the application form will be submitted. Now print-out the system generated application. This print-out copy of form should be kept carefully as this will required during personnel interview, if called.
During registration candidates will have to upload scan copy of color passport size photograph, scan signature and also Caste certificate (if SC/ST) and PH certificate (if disabled). Each copy should be in JPG/ JPEG format and not more than 500 KB.
N.B: There is no need to send any documents by post to the office address of EIL. Candidates should mention their valid email id for further correspondence. All the original documents and testimonials will be verified during Test/Interview.
