Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) is recruiting 375 Boys/Girls for the post of “Management Trainees (Technical)” and “Management Trainees (Administration)”. Graduates and Post Graduates candidates who meet the below given criteria may apply for the post.
Name of the Post: Management Trainees (Technical)
No. of vacancies: 318 Nos. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories will be provided as per rules. Among PWD, the post is open only for Orthopedically disabled candidates
Qualification: Graduates candidates in mechanical/Production/Industrial/Production & Industrial/Thermal/Mechanical & Automation/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation & control/ Power System and High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ power Engineering/ metallurgy/ Civil/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Power/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/ Ceramics/ Chemical/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ mining Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in average of all semesters are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed MCA of 3 years course with at least 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) in average of all semesters may also apply.

No. of vacancies: 57 nos. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Handicapped categories will be provided as per rules.
Qualification as per discipline—
For HR: Graduates in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD) having passed 2-year full time MBA/ PG Diploma course in HR/PM & IR/ Pers./ MHORD with at least 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD) are eligible to apply.
For Marketing: Graduates in any discipline with at least 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PWD) having passed two year fulltime MBA/PG Diploma course in Marketing with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) are eligible to apply.
For Finance: candidates who have passed CA/ICWA are eligible to apply.
Age Limits for both posts: Candidates should not be more than 30 yrs old as on 1-7-2011. Age relaxation by 5yrs for SC/ST, 3yrs for OBC and 10 yrs for PH candidates.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test, which will be of Objectives Type and may hold on the month of September. Candidates can download the Admit card from 5th September by visiting the official site of SAIL: http://sail.co.in

Before submitting the application form, candidates will have to download the pay-in-slip from the website. With this slip candidates should deposit the registration fee of Rs. 500 (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PH) and plus Rs.20 for bank charges.
Amount can be deposited from any branch of State Bank of India at the following account—A/c No. 31836070568 at CAG branch, New Delhi.
After depositing the fee candidates can submit the online application form as per instructed on the form.
After submitting the online form, computer generated Registration slip with unique Registration No. will appear. Candidates should download or make print-out of this slip for further references.
All types of correspondence will made through email so candidates should provide their own valid email id.
Candidates do not need to send any things by post to SAIL.
