Assam Government – Assam State Electricity Board is recruiting 429 persons for the post of-“Assistant Accounts Officer”, “Junior Manager (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil)”and “Assistant Manager (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil and Instrumentation)”. The vacant post were in – Assam Power Distribution Company, Assam Electricity Grid Corporation and in Assam Power Generation Corporation. The required qualification for the post where given below –

Name of the post:  Assistant Accounts Officer.
Vacancies: –
Assam Power Distribution Company: 86 nos.
Assam Electricity Grid Corp: 35 nos.
Assam Power Generation Corp: 07 nos.
Qualification: Required for the Post: candidates with minimum 55% marks in B.Com or B.Com (Honours/Major) course pass may apply. Science or Art discipline graduate candidate with minimum 55% marks may also apply for the post but in their case they should have subjects – Mathematics or on Statistics topic in their degree course. Mathematics or Statistics Honours (B.A, B.Sc) course pass candidates with 55% marks were also eligible to apply. SC/ST candidate will receive cut-off of 5% marks.
Candidates should have pass Computer Application’s diploma or certificate course of minimum three months.
Pay scale: Rs. 6380-Rs. 23,000, Grade Pay: Rs. 3300

Required Qualification: Mechanical Engineering diploma course pass candidates with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) may apply for the post
Pay Scale: Rs. 9500-Rs. 35,000, Grade Pay: Rs. 4300.

Required Qualification: Civil Engineering diploma course pass with minimum 60% mark (50% marks for SC/ST) may play for the post.
Pay Scale: same as above post.

Name of the post: Assistant Manager (Electrical)

Assam Electricity Grid Corp: 10 nos.

Required Qualification: Electrical Engineering degree course pass with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) may apply for the post
Pay Scale: Rs. 40,200-Rs. 45,000. Grade Pay: Rs. 5400

Required qualification: Instrumentation Engineering degree course pass with minimum 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) may play for the post.
Pay Scale: same as above post.

The required age for the candidate for all the above mentioned posts should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 1 October, 2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidate-05 years and PH candidates will receive is relaxation as per norms.
