1. Fitter: 16 Nos. (OH-5; HH-11)
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC or equivalent examination and must have passed the “National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination” in the trade of “Fitter”.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
2. Structural Fabricator: 08 Nos. (OH-2; HH-6)
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC or equivalent examination and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Structural Fitter / Fabricator”.
The candidate having National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in “Sheet Metal Worker” trade will be considered for “Trainee Structural Fabricator”.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
3. Pipe Fitter: 04 Nos. (OH-1; HH-03)
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC or equivalent examination and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of “Pipe Fitter” plus one year experience in MDL/Ship-building.
Candidate who have passed SSC with ‘NAC’ in Plumber trade without Shipbuilding experience can apply for the post of “Trainee Pipe fitter”
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
4. Electrician: 10 Nos. (OH-3; HH-7)
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC or equivalent examination and the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Electrician”.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
5. Painter: 04 Nos. (OH-1; HH-3)
Educational Qualification: Passed VIII std and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Painter”.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
6. Carpenter: 02 Nos. (OH-1; HH-1)
Educational Qualification: Passed VIII std and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Carpenter”.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
7. Composite Welder: 03 Nos. (OH-1; HH-2)
Educational Qualification: Passed VIII std and the National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the trade of “Welder / Welder (G&E)”
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 43 years as on 01/09/2015
Basic Pay: Rs.7500/- in the first year and Rs.7575/- in second year per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST and 02 years for OBC
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will through Interview followed by trade test. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course (16/10/2015 onwards).
Note: The candidates who have worked as Fitter, Structural fabricator & Pipe Fitter in MDL/Shipbuilding industry for minimum one year having passed NAC in different trades may apply directly to such trade.
The engagement of the selected candidates will be on contractual basis for a maximum period of 02 years. During the training period trainee will be paid a stipend of Rs.5000/- per month
