Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) is inviting application for the vacancies on contractual basis in the posts of “Contract Engineer” in discipline of Electrical and Civil. Duration of contractual period is 2 years and may extended on sole discretion of the Authority. CONTRACT ENGINEER
Number of Vacancies: 6 Nos.
Break up vacancies as per discipline wise –
- Electrical: 1 Nos.
- Civil: 5 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time Engineering Degree in respective discipline i.e. Electrical (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical & Instrumentation) or Civil (Civil/ Civil& Structural/ Structural).
Experience: Minimum one year post qualification experience in relevant field.
Age Limit: Maximum 28yrs as on 11/10/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.37000/- per month for the first year and Rs.38000/- per month for second year.
Candidates’ Selection:
The selection for the above mentioned posts will be by way of Personal Interview. However, if the applicants are in large number, management may decide to hold a Written Test followed by Personal Interview.

The engagement to the above posts are on contractual basis for duration of 2 years. The posting will be at Mumbai.
