Qualification Required:—
1. Pharmacist: B.Pharm/ D. Pharm with 2yrs of working experience in Dispensary as pharmacist.
2. Jr. Draughtsman: SSC or equivalent with NAC (National Apprentice Certificate) in trade of Draughtsman in Mechanical discipline.
3. Structural Fabricator/ Fitter/ Electrician/ Crane Operator/ Electronic Mechanic/ Machinist/ Brass Finisher/ Compressor Attendant/ Millwright Mechanic: SSC or equivalent with NAC (National Apprentice Certificate) in relevant trade.
4. Painter/ Carpenter/ Composite Welder/ Rigger: Class VIII pass and NAC (National Apprentice Certificate) in relevant trade.
N.B: Beside from above mentioned Qualification candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience in a shipbuilding industry in the respective trades. The experience certificate should be issued by the Personnel / HR department. For detailed qualification requirement, please refer the officially released advt. (link given below).
Age limits: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01/08/2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Selection candidates will be on probation for 6 months. Selected candidates will be appointed in the skilled Grade—I category and will be in Pay scale: Rs.7500—Rs.22430.
How to Apply: Candidates should apply on prescribed application format which can be also prepared on A4 size paper by neatly typing as per format. A self-attested passport size photograph should be affixed on the form.
Candidates should attach attested copies of all certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience and caste along with the application.
Selection Steps: Short listed candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria will be called for interview. List of eligible candidates will also be available on the official website on 30th November 2012 onwards. Those candidates who qualify in the interview will have to appear for the trade test.
Application fee: Candidates should prepare Demand Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Mazagon Dock Ltd., payable at Mumbai. SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from paying the Application fee.
