Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 100 posts of Trade Apprentices in the trades – Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Capenter and Structural Fitter. TRADE APPRENTICES

Group “A” (Class 10 Pass)

Trades wise vacancies:

1. Fitter: 20 posts (UR-12, SC-02, OBC-05, ST-01)
2. Pipe Fitter: 20 posts (UR-12, SC-02, OBC-05, ST-01)
3. Structural Fitter: 15 posts (UR-09, SC-01, OBC-04, ST-01)

Educational Qualification: Passed SSC in first attempt with General Science & Mathematics with 50% marks (pass Class in case of SC / ST). Passing criteria is best of 5 subjects taken ,General Science & Mathematics should be the part of the qualifying.
Candidates with Higher qualification may also apply. However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only
Age Limit: Minimum- 15 years and maximum-19 years as on 01.01.2016

Selected candidates will be on training period for Three years during First year Rs.Rs.6460/- Second year Rs.7382/- and Third year Rs.8305/- will be paid.

 

Group “B” (ITI Passed)

Trades wise vacancies:

1. Electronic Mechanic: 15 posts (UR-09, OBC-04, SC-01, ST-01)
2. Carpenter: 15 posts (UR-09, OBC-04, SC-01, ST-01)
3. Fitter-Structural (Ex. ITI Fitter): 15 posts (UR-09, OBC-04, SC-01, ST-01)

Educational Qualification: Passed in first attempt in respective trades (i.e. ELECTRONIC MECHANIC / CARPENTER / FITTER) with minimum 50 % marks (pass class in case of SC, ST) and ITI passed.
Age Limit: Minimum- 16 years and maximum- 21 years as on 01.01.2016

 

 

Candidates’ Selection:

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Interview / Medical Examination.
