Additional qualification in Material Management & Knowledge of Computer will be Preferred.

8. Fitter: 158 Nos. (Gen-87, OBC-42, SC-15, ST-14)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent examination and must have passed the “National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination” in the trade of “Fitter”.
Candidate who have worked in MDL/Shipbuilding industry as a Fitter for minimum one year but undergone Apprentice Training in any other trade can apply for the post of Fitter directly

9. Structural Fabricator: 133 Nos. (Gen-74, OBC-35, SC-13, ST-11)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent examination and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Structural Fitter / Fabricator”.
Candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in “Sheet Metal Worker” trade will be considered for “Trainee Structural Fabricator”

10. Pipe Fitter: 130 Nos. (Gen-72, OBC-35, SC-12, ST-11)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent examination and the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Pipe Fitter” or Passed SSC or equivalent examination and National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of “Plumber” and having one year experience in MDL/Ship-building industry as a Plumber may apply for the Post of Pipe fitter directly. However, the experience certificate should be certified by their Personnel Dept.
Candidate who have passed SSC with ‘NAC’ in Plumber trade without Shipbuilding experience can apply for the post of “Trainee Pipe fitter”

13. Diesel Crane Operator: 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: SSC or equivalent examination and the National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination in the trade of “Diesel Mechanic” with valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and having one year experience in MDL/ Ship-building industry as Diesel Crane Operator.
However, the experience certificate should be certified by their Personnel Dept. In case of non-availability of candidates as Diesel Crane Operator, candidates having passed SSC and passed NAC examination in the trade of Diesel Mechanic may apply for the post of “Trainee Diesel Crane Operator”.

However, the experience certificate should be certified by their Personnel Dept. In case of non-availability of candidates as Compressor Attendant, candidates having passed SSC and passed NAC examination in the trade of Millwright Mechanic or Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance

Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000/- for First Year and Rs.6060/- for Second Year per month.
21. Chipper Grinder (Semi-Skilled): 65 Nos. (Gen-37, OBC-17, SC-06, ST-05)
Educational Qualification: SSC and NAC in any trade and have worked in Shipbuilding industry as Chipper Grinder for minimum period of one year. However, the experience certificate should be certified by the Personnel Dept.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-33 years as on 01.08.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000/- for First Year and Rs.6060/- for Second Year per month.
Desirable Experience (For all above posts): Work experience in the relevant trade/function in a Shipbuilding industry for minimum one year duly certified by their Personnel Department is desirable.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
