MEDICAL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 900 Nos. (OM-450, RBA-90, SC-72, ST-90, ALC/ IB-36, Social Caste-36, PSP-36, EWS-90)
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS or Possession of recognized Graduate Medical qualification .
ii) Registration of Medical Council of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir/ Medical Council of India.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years (42 years for Physically Challenged candidates/ 43 years for candidates belonging to RBA/ SC/ ST/ ALC/ SLC/ PSP/ EWS categories and 48 years for Ex-serviceman) as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.52700 — Rs.166700
The posts are in the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Note:- Only candidates who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test. The tentative date of Written Test is 01/11/2020. The Examination will be held in Srinagar and Jammu centres.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for Reserved Categories). NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PHC CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO JAMMU AND KASHMIR PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (JKPSC) AT THIS STAGE.
