MEDICAL OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 53 Nos.
i) Medical Officer (Urban Health) – 39 posts (At Urban CHC and PHC)
ii) Medical Officer (Mobile Medical Unit) – 08 posts
iii) Medical Officer (National Viral Hepatitis Control Program) – 01 post (At PGI Chandigarh)
iv) Medical Officer (Tele Medicine Hub) – 04 posts (At Chandigarh)
v) Medical Officer (RNTCP) – 01 post (At Chandigarh)
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
ii) Registered with Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
iii) Preferential Qualification (Only for the post of Medical Officer- RNTCP):- Diploma/ MD Public Health/ PSM/ Community Medicine/ CHA/ Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases.
iv) Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard. If the candidate has not passed Punjabi upto Matric, the candidate will be given 06 months time to pass the subject.
Age Limit: Maximum 64 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.50000 per month.
