Military Engineer Services (MES) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 241 posts of Electrician, Fitter (General Mechanic), Refrigerator & AC Mechanic, Pipe Fitter, Carpenter, Mason, Vehicle Mechanic and Painter. MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICES (MES) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 241 POSTS OF ELECTRICIAN, FITTER, MECHANIC, CARPENTER, MASON, PAINTER, ETC. LAST DATE — 10/10/2015 (17/10/2015 for far flung areas)

 

1. Mate Electrician: 79 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

2. Mate Fitter (General Mechanic): 60 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

3. Mate Refrigeration/AC Mechanic: 32 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

4. Mate Pipe Fitter: 19 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

5. Mate Carpenter: 25 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

6. Mate Mason: 20 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

7. Mate Vehicle Mechanic: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

8. Mate Painter: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and ITI in the relevant trade.
Age Limit: 18 years to 27 years as on 10/10/2015

 

Upper Age Relaxation: As per Govt. norms.

 

Note: The total vacancies in each Trades are further breaks up into Zone/CsWE wise. The vacancies are in total four CWE, viz. – CWE Lucknow, CWE (Hills) Dehradun, CWE (Hills) Pithoragarh and CWE (AF) Maharajpur. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Practical Test and Interview. Tentatively written examination will be conducted in the last week of December, 2015. Questions will be Objective Type-Multiple Choice Question only.

Examination will be held in respective Zone/CsWE, i.e. at Lucknow, Dehradun, Pithoragarh and Maharajpur (See PDF file given below).
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Military Engineer Services (MES)

Candidates must also enclose 02 Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.27/- on each
