MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 463 POSTS OF CIVIL MOTOR DRIVER, CHOWKIDAR, SAFAIWALA, METER READER, CANEMAN, STORE KEEPER-II AND PEON. LAST DATE — 19/04/2016 (26/04/2016 for far flung areas)

 

1. Civil Motor Driver [CMD (OG)]: 81 Nos. (Central Command- 30, Western Command – 26, Northern Command – 25)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam.
Candidates should possess valid civil driving license for all type of vehicle from State Government.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1900/-

 

2. Chowkidar: 85 Nos. (Western Command- 53, South Western Command- 32)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam.
Desirable: Should be conversant with duties of Chowkidar and should be physically fit.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1800/-

 

3. Safaiwala: 49 Nos. (Western Command- 10, South Western Command- 39)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1800/-

 

4. Meter Reader: 52 Nos. (Western Command- 28, South Western Command- 04, Northern Command- 20)
Educational Qualification: (10+2) examination or equivalent
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1900/-

 

5. Caneman: 24 Nos. (Southern command – 09, Eastern command- 04, Central command -03, Western Command- 03, South Western Command- 02, Northern Command- 03)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam Or Industrial training institute pass certificate
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1800/-

 

6. Store Keeper-II: 86 Nos. (Southern command – 05, Eastern command- 27, Central command -18, Western Command- 15, South Western Command- 15, Northern Command- 06)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1900/-

 

7. Peon: 86 Nos. (Eastern command- 20, Central command -20, Western Command- 19, South Western Command- 15, Northern Command- 12)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent exam
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on (closing date of application form)
Pay Scale: Rs 5200/- Rs.20200/- with grade pay Rs.1800/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through written examination. For the post of CMD and Caneman there will be Skill test. Written examination will be held at the various centres across the country on 24 JUL 2016.
