Military Engineer Services, South Western Command, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 187 posts of Mate (Semi-Skilled) in the following Trades – Electrician, Refg & Mechanic, Carpenter, Mason, Painter, FGM and Pipe Fitter. MATE (SEMI-SKILLED)
Number of Vacancies: 187 Posts.

Name of the Trades and No. of vacancies in each trade –

1. Mate (Elect): 71 Posts.
2. Mate (Refg & Mech): 15 Posts.
3. Mate (Carpenter): 17 Posts.
4. Mate (Mason): 17 Posts.
5. Mate (Painter): 06 Posts.
6. Mate (FGM): 37 Posts.
7. Mate (Pipe Fitter): 24 Posts.

Reservation of vacancies for SC/ST, OBC, PWD, Etc. will be as per Govt. norms.

 

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination pass AND ITI pass certificate in a relevant trade.

 

Age Limit: Between 18 years and 27 years as on 31/10/2015. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination.

Tentative date of examination is 10/01/2016. Examination Centre will be at – Jaipur, Bathinda and Gandhinagar.
