Military Engineer Service, Western Command is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 583 posts of Mate Electrician, Mate Refrigerator Mechanic, Mate Fitter General Mechanic, Mate Carpenter, Mate Mason, Mate Pipe Fitter, Mate Painter, Mate Veh Mechanic, Mate Fitter, Mate Upholster and Mate Valve man. 1. Mate Electrician: 85 posts
2. Mate Refrigerator Mechanic: 52 posts
3. Mate Fitter General Mechanic: 231 posts
4. Mate Carpenter: 35 posts
5. Mate Mason: 15 posts
6. Mate Pipe Fitter: 34 posts
7. Mate Painter: 04 posts
8. Mate Veh Mechanic: 13 posts
9. Mate Fitter: 39 posts
10. Mate Upholster: 04 posts
11. Mate Valve man: 71 posts

 

Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass and Industrial Training Institute pass certificate.

Candidates should be physically and medically Fit.

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Minimum- 18 years and maximum- 27 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scales (For all above posts/trades): Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay – Grade pay of Rs.1800/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Examination will be held at Delhi, Ferozepur, Chandimandir, Jalandhar, New Delhi and Bikaner.
