Military Engineer Services (MES) is inviting application on prescribed application format for 2658 vacancies in the posts of – Draughtsman, Supervisor, Storekeeper, Driver, Peon, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Meter Reader, Caneman and Mate (SSK). MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICES (MES) INVITES APPLICATION FOR 2658 DRAUGHTSMAN, SUPERVISOR, STOREKEEPER, DRIVER, PEON, CHOWKIDAR, SAFAIWALA, METER READER, CANEMAN AND MATE. LAST DATE – 03/01/2015 (10.01.2015).

 

Draughtsman: 7 Nos.
Qualification: 3yrs diploma in Architectural Assistantship. One year experience is desirable.

 

Supervisor Barrack & Store (Supvr B/S): 64 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Arts or Science with Diploma in Material Management OR 03 years Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.

 

Storekeeper Grade-II (SK-II): 11 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

 

Civilian Motor Driver (OG) (CMD (OG)): 100 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and should possess valid driving license for all types of vehicles.

 

Peon: 86 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

 

Chowkidar: 58 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Desirable — Conversant with duties of chowkidar and should be physically fit.

 

Safaiwala: 26 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent

 

Chowkidar (Khanasama): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma on Cooking/ Catering

 

Meter Reader: 18 Nos.
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent

 

Caneman: 22 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent OR ITI pass

 

Mate (SSK): 2265 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent OR ITI pass

 

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 27yrs as on last date of receipt of application, i.e. 03/01/2015. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD- Un-reserved (UR), 13 years for PWD-OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates. Ex-Servicemen and Other, if any – AS per Govt. norms.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Tentatively written examination will be conducted on 14 Feb2015. However, final date, time, venue will be intimated in the Call letter and same also will be available on MES Website at — http://mes.gov.in.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format which can be downloaded from the official website of MES — mes.gov.in (See URL/PDF below), along with Self attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates, caste certificate and certificates in support of any claim / relaxation (wherever applicable)
Candidates must enclose two self-addressed envelopes of size 28 cm x 12 cm with postage stamp of Rs 60/- affixed on each envelope.
The application containing envelope must be superscribe in bold letters with the Name of the Post applied for and Category of the applicant.
