Military Nursing Service Recruitment 2023 Notification Out – Apply Now under NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the Military Nursing Service: Selection for Short Service Commission (SSC) 2023-24. As per the requirement, NTA has published a short notice for the recruitment. The selected candidates will be granted Permanent/ Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (See link given below).

The responsibility for examining Military Nursing Service: Selection for Short Service Commission (SSC) 2023-24 has been entrusted to the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the supervision of the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS). MNS Selection for SSC 2023-24 Educational Qualification: 

Must have passed on the first attempt, Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent (12 years schooling) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a recognized Board/ University/ Examination Body.

Only Female candidates who are Unmarried/ Divorced/ Legally Separated/Widowed without encumbrances are eligible to apply.

Military Nursing Service Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

The age limit for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) for the Short Service Commission (SSC) is between 21 to 35 years.

Physical Standards:

(i) Female Candidates: Height — Minimum 152 cm (148 cm for Gorkhas and candidates belonging to North Eastern region of India, Garhwal and Kumaon)

MNS Recruitment 2023 Candidates’ Selection: 

The selection of candidates will be through an Online Computer Examination and Interviews. The Online Computer Based Examination is likely to be held in April 2020. The Interview will be held during May 2020.

Military Nursing Service 2023 How to Apply: 

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (See Application form’s link given below) from 11-12-2023 to 26-12-2023.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO THE MILITARY NURSING SERVICE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.

Military Nursing Service 2023-24 Exam Details

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled for 14 January 2024, with a duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes) from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Following the examination, the Question Paper and Answer Keys will be displayed on the NTA website for candidate review. The result will also be declared on the NTA website.
