Ministry of Steel is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 10 posts of young, talented, innovative, and dynamic Professionals for recruitment as Young Professionals (YPs). No. of Vacancies:

• 10 nos

Educational Qualification:

• B Tech in Mining/Metallurgy or Bachelor Degree in Geology or Bachelor in International Trade/ Business or MBA or LLB

Experience :

• 1-2 years of experience in the mining sector/metal sector/foreign trade/international trade law/marketing

Age Limit:

• Candidate should be below 30 years of age as of 1st July 2022

Pay Scale:

• Rs. 60,000/- (inclusive of Transport Allowance)

Job Description :

• Young Professionals shall be required to provide high-quality inputs w.r.t. international trade, country-wise steel trade analysis, find and share with industry leads on steel export in existing as well as new markets, prepare detailed reports on tariff and non-tariff barriers in international markets w.r.t. steel exports, ways to substitute steel imports, conduct online export promotion campaigns for steel, plan and execute steel trade shows in India as well as abroad, plan participation of Indian steel sector in International trade shows/exhibitions, conduct workshops on international trade for the steel industry, provide handholding to MSME steel/steel goods manufacturers/traders who wish to enter the export business, green steel, circular economy in ferrous metal, steel scrap, material resources efficiency in steel making, extended producer responsibility in the steel sector, etc.

Mode of Recruitment:

• All the applications received within the stipulated time period shall be scrutinized and shortlisted by a Screening Committee. The shortlisted applicants would then be interviewed by a Board. Shortlisted candidates are required to carry original documents at
  the time of the interview.

• Eligible Candidates are required to send scanned copies of the completed application form along with self-attested documents (as required) to eststeel@nic.in.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications:

• The last date for sending the completed application is December 6, 2022, at 17.00 hrs. Any application received after the due date/ time shall be summarily rejected.
