MULTI TASKING STAFF (MTS)

No. of Vacancies: 242 Nos.

 

Educational Qualification:

i) Class 10th standard pass from a recognized Board or University.
ii) Knowledge of local language of the West Bengal/ Andaman & Nicobar/ Sikkim State as the case may be.
iii) The candidate should have studied local language at least upto 10th standard.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 04/10/2018.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 18000-29700/-

 

The vacancies are for various Postal/ RMS Divisions/ Units in West Bengal Postal Circle.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Aptitude Test. The Computer Based Aptitude Test will be held at various centres namely Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, Port Blair, Midnapore, Howrah, Burdwan and Berhampore (WB).

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- as Application Fee and Rs. 400/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through designated Post Office (see pdf file given below for lists of Post Offices) by means of Fee payment Challan. See officially released advertisement for more details.

NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/PWD/WOMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen.
