Directorate of Health Services of Assam is recruiting 900 persons for the post of “Multi-purpose Worker”. Higher Secondary candidates with below mentioned criteria may apply for the posts—
Name of the Post: Multi-purpose Worker
No. of Posts: 900 Nos. (Gen-459, OBC/MOBC-243,SC-63, ST (Hill areas)- 45, ST (Plain areas)- 90.
Required Qualification: Higher Secondary candidates with Biology or Science as a compulsory subject may apply for the post.
Age of the candidates should be between 18yrs to 38yrs as on 1-1-2011. Reserved candidates will receive age relaxation as per Govt. norms.
Pay scale per month will be Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.2400 per month.
Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test. If selected, then there will be training of one year in Health Institute.

- Attested copies of Age, Qualification and Caste certificates
- Bank Draft or Bankers Cheque of Rs.50 (Rs.40 for SC/ST) in favour of—“Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences” and payable at—“Guwahati”
