Municipal Service Commission, Kolkata, is recruiting 29 candidates under Assansol Durgapur Development Authority for the posts of — Assistant Engineer (Elect), Sub Asst. Engineer (Electrical/ Civil), Cashier, Work Assistant, Survey Assistant, Asst. Accountant, Surveyor (Civil), LDA, Town Planner, Stenographer, Etc. Advertisement No. 4 of 2013. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 1 (unreserved)
Qualification: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade AND One year work experience in the field.
Scale: Rs. 15600-42000, Grade Pay : 5400
Age: 18 to 32 yrs.
2. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
Number of Vacancies: 1 (SC)
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from any Polytechnic/ Institution AND One year work experience in the field.
Scale: Rs.9000-40500, Grade Pay : 4400
Age: 18 to 32 yrs.
3. Cashier
Number of Vacancies: 2 (UR—1; SC—1)
Qualification: B.Com or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and minimum six month’s computer course in financial accounting AND one year experience in the field.
Scale: Rs.5400-25200, Grade Pay : 2600
Age: 18 to 40yrs.
4. Work Assistant
Number of Vacancies: 5 (UR—2; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-A—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Science Stream) or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
Scale: 5400-25200, Grade Pay : 2600
Age: 18 to 40yrs.
5. Survey Assistant
Number of Vacancies: 5 Nos. (UR—2; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-A—1)
Qualification: Madhymik or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade
Scale: Rs.4900-16200, Grade Pay : 1800
Age: 18 to 40yrs.
6. Assistant Accountant
Number of Vacancies: 1 (UR)
Qualification: B.Com(Hons.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and one year computer course in financial accounting AND one year experience in accounts works.
CA (Inter) or ICWAI (Inter) is desirable.
Scale: Rs.7100 -37600, Grade Pay : 3600
Age: 18 to 32yrs.
7. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Number of Vacancies: 4 Nos (UR—2; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from any Polytechnic / Institution AND one year experience in the field.
Scale: Rs.9000-40500, Grade Pay : 4400
Age: 18 to 32yrs.
8. Surveyor (Civil)
Number of Vacancies: 6 Nos. (UR—2; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-A—1; OBC-B—1)
Qualification: 3 years’ Diploma in Survey from any recognized institute and Course in Auto Cad
Scale: Rs.7100 -37600
Grade Pay : 3600
Age: 18 to 32yrs.
9. LDA
Number of Vacancies: 2 (UR)
Qualification: Graduate or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and Six months certificate course in Computer Applications.
Scale: Rs.5400-25200, Grade Pay : 2600
Age: 18 to 40yrs.
10. Town Planner
Number of Vacancies: 1 (SC)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Architecture with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade and Master Degree in Town Planning / Regional Planning/ Urban Planning/ Housing / Town & /Regional Planning AND one year experience in the field.
Scale: Rs.15600-42000, Grade Pay : 5400
Age: 18 to 32yrs.
11. CA-cum-Stenographer
Number of Vacancies: 1 (SC)
Qualification: B.A.(English Hons.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and Course in Stenography.
Scale: Rs.7100 -37600, Grade Pay : 3600
Age: 18 to 32yrs.
Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.
Selection Steps: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Test, Written Test, Skill Test and interview as the case may be. The scheme and syllabus of the screening test/written test etc. will be intimated in due course.
Application Fee: Rs.150/- plus processing charge of Rs.50/- is to be paid through any branches of United Bank of India and is to be deposited to A/C No.0088050006781 of UBI Entally Branch vide challan specially designed and available at Commission’s website — www.mscwb.org
One part of the challan meant for Commission will have to be attached with the application form.
No Application Fee for SC/ST and PH candidates but they will require to pay processing charge of Rs.50/- only.
Note : The bank will charge Rs.20 per transaction including service tax from the applicants (See the below given PDF for detail)
How to Apply: Apply in the prescribed application format along with Self-attested photocopies of the documents/certificates in support of age, caste, qualification, and experience (if any) etc., whichever are applicable.
