Educational Qualification:
(i) For Development Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and knowledge of word processing on Computer is essential.
(ii) For Development Assistant (Hindi): Graduate with minimum 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates), Hindi & English as subjects or Hindi as medium of instruction at Graduation level with English as Compulsory subject or English as medium of instruction level with Hindi as Compulsory subject. Knowledge of Computer operation is essential.
Note: Candidates applying for the post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language. Candidate should also be able to write and speak English.
Age (as on 31-07-2015): Between 18 and 35 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01-07-1980 and not later than 31-07-1997 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD, 10 yrs for Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married, 05yrs for ordinarily domiciled of J&K & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others
Pay Scale: Starting basic pay will be Rs.8,860/- per month in the scale of Rs.8040 – Rs.20100/- and plus other allowances as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks and Objective types.
The examination will be conducted online at various venues across many cities in India (as available in the online interface). The candidate should appear for the examination only at the venue indicated in his / her call letter.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay 450/- (including charges) for General and OBC candidates AND Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future references. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/ DOCUMENTS TO NABARD AT THIS STAGE.
