NABARD is seeking applications for the position of Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) on a contract basis at Thiruvananthapuram. Eligible candidates, possessing an MBBS degree or a postgraduate degree in General Medicine with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, are invited to apply.

Eligibility criteria for the position of Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) include holding an MBBS degree or a postgraduate degree in General Medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Practitioner in a hospital or clinic setting. Furthermore, applicants must have their dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 3-5 kilometers from the Bank’s dispensaries in Thiruvananthapuram.
NABARD BMO Recruitment Selection Process
- NABARD will conduct interviews to select a panel of Medical Officers on a contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration.
- Selection will be based on the interview of eligible candidates, with the Bank reserving the right to raise minimum eligibility standards as necessary to limit the number of candidates called for the interview.
- The decision regarding candidate selection rests solely with the Bank, and applicants not called for the interview will not receive further correspondence.
- Shortlisted candidates must undergo medical tests and submit Medical Fitness Certificates as per prescribed norms before engagement as BMO.x

- Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit applications in the prescribed format provided in Annexure I(D).
- Applications should be sent in a cover letter labeled ‘Application for the post of BMO on a contract basis’ and addressed to the Chief General Manager, Human Resource Management Department, NABARD Kerala Regional Office, Thiruvananthapuram.
