NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2026-27

A total of 39 seats have been allocated under the scheme — 34 seats for Regional Offices (ROs) and Training Establishments (TEs), with 1 seat per RO/TE, and 5 seats for the Head Office, Mumbai. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Students pursuing a post-graduate degree/PGDM (having completed/completing 1st year) in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agribusiness, Economics, Agri-economics, Social Sciences, and Management from reputed Institutes/Universities are eligible. Students pursuing 5-year integrated courses who have completed/are completing their 4th year are also eligible. Indian students studying abroad can also apply for SIS 2026-27.
State-wise Restriction: Students applying for internship at a particular State Regional Office or Training Establishment must either be pursuing their degree from that State or must belong to that State (i.e., must be an ordinary resident of that State). However, the 5 seats at Head Office, Mumbai are open to students from across India with no state restriction.

NABARD SIS 2026-27 Selection Process
The selection for NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2026-27 is carried out in two stages.
Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Applicants are shortlisted for interview based on a weighted score system calculated on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10th, Class 12th, and Graduation.
Stage 2 – Interview: The final selection of students is based solely on their performance in the interview. Interviews are tentatively scheduled to be completed by 22nd June 2026.
