National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR) is recruiting 23 candidates for the posts Technician, Technician Assistant, Sr. Technician Officer and Lower Division Clerk on temporary basis for its Institute, Karnal & its Regional Station, ERS Kalyani (WB) and SRS, Bangalore (Karnataka). 1. Technician (Laboratory Technician): 1 No.
Qualification: Matriculation and one year computer certificate course.

 

2. Technician (Workshop): 1 No.
Qualification: Matriculation and one year certificate in Fitter/ Plumber.

 

3. Technician (Workshop): 1 No.
Qualification: Matriculation and one year certificate in Tractor Mechanic/ Motor Mechanic

 

4. Technical Assistant (Field Farm Technician): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences / Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agriculture/ Agriculture with Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

 

5. Technical Assistant (Laboratory Technician): 3 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry and any two of the following – Zoology, Botany/ Mathematics or Physics, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology

 

6. Technical Assistant (Laboratory Technician): 3 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications or its equivalent qualification.

 

7. Technical Assistant (Workshop): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/ 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication.

 

8. Sr. Technical Officer (Laboratory Technician): 1 No.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Application

 

9. Sr. Technical Officer (Field Farm Technician): 1 No.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science / Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry

 

10. Lower Division Clerk: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Class 12 pass and Typing speed of 35 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

 

Note: Applicable to all above posts — Knowledge or Experience of one or two years in the concerned field is desirable. See Advt. below.

 

Age Limit: 18 to 35yrs for the posts of Sr. Technical Officer; 18 to 27yrs for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk and 18 to 30yrs for all rest of posts. The age will be taken as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

 

Pay Bands/Scales/Grade Pay:
a) PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + Rs.2000/- (GP) (For Cat.I) Technician
b) PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + Rs.2800/- (GP) (For Cat.II) Technical Assistant
c) PB-3, Rs.15600-39100+ Rs.5400/- (GP) (For Cat.III) Sr. Technical Officer
d) PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200+1900 (G P) Lower Divisional Clerk

 

All posts are temporary but likely to continue. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for these posts with regard to qualifications and age etc.

 

Application Fee: Rs.100/- for each post is to be sent in the shape of Bank Draft drawn in the favour of “ICAR-UNIT-NDRI” payable at Karnal
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST, PH AND ALL WOMEN CANDIDATES.
