JUNIOR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT (GRADE-II)
Discipline wise vacancies and qualification required are as follows —
Production: 19 (UR—11; SC—3; OBC—5)
Qualification: B.Sc. (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
Mechanical: 07 (UR—4; SC—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
Electrical: 04 (UR—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
Instrumentation: 09 (UR—5; SC—1; OBC—3)
Qualification: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST).
Out of 11 posts of Mechanical and Electrical Discipline, two posts are reserved for PWD with visually impairement (low vision) and Hearing impairment. Reservation for Ex-Servicemen & others shall be as per Govt. norms.
Age Limit: Minimum 18, Maximum 30 years as on 01.07.2015 (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others)
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—16400 plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Candidate can appear for written test/ interview either in Hindi or English, as per their choice.
