West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samiti, West Bengal is recruiting 900 Multipurpose Workers (Male) in the Blocks of different Districts across the State under National Rural Health Mission. The engagement will be initially for one year which may be extended further. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format along with testimonials. Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary pass or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should be permanent resident of that Block for post of which application is made.

Age Limit: Upto 40 years as on 01/11/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others – As per norms.

Remuneration (Consolidated pay): Rs.13560/- per month

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be on basis of percentage of marks obtained in the Higher Secondary or equivalent exam in 5 compulsory subjects namely Vernacular, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
In case, the total marks of more than on e person are same, preference should be given to the candidate having highest score in Biology. In case more than one person scores same in Biology, applicant with seniority in age will be place above the junior in the merit list.

The engagement will be initially for one year which is likely to be extended and will be under National Rural Health Mission.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.

Candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Candidates must enclose attested copies to testimonials in support of eligibility such as, i) Photo proof identity card (passport/ Voter card or Adhar card or Pan card), ii) Proof of resident of the Block applied for (Voter card/ Adhar card or Ration card), iii) Age proof certificate (like Admit card/ school certificate), iv) Caste certificate (if SC/ST/OBC), and v) Higher Secondary mark-sheets.
