Indian Navy, Naval Armament Depot, Visakhapatnam, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 100 posts of Chargeman (Factory/ AWS) and Tradesman Skilled – Armament Fitter, Torpedo Fitter, Carpenter/Joiner, Fitter Auto and Amm. NON-INDUSTRIAL (GROUP-B)

i. Charge man (Factory): 07 posts (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-01, ST-01)
ii. Charge man (AWS): 17 posts (UR-09, OBC-05, SC-02, ST-01)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Science degree with physics or Chemistry or Mathematics OR Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on closing date of application form
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

 

TRADESMAN SKILLED (INDUSTRIAL) GROUP-C

iii. Armament Fitter: 16 posts (UR-09, OBC-05, ST-02)
iv. Torpedo Fitter: 43 posts (UR-27, OBC-13, SC-03)
v. Carpenter/Joiner: 03 posts (UR-02, SC-01)
vi. Fitter Auto: 04 posts (UR-04)
vii. Ammunition Mechanic-II: 10 posts (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with knowledge of English and should have completed Apprentice Training in the trade.
For Ammunition Mechanic-II: Matriculation or equivalent with two years Certificate Course in any of the following trade Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Electroplater, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic, Communication Equipment Maintenance.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on closing date of application form.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination.

Candidates selected for the Industrial and Non-Industrial post may be posted anywhere in NAD Visakhapatnam, Port Blair, Arakkonam, Bheemunipatnam, Sunabeda, Balasore, Kolkata, Rambilli or any Naval Unit under ENC.
