Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapattanam, under Ministry of Defence (Navy), is inviting application from the eligible candidates for enrollment of Trade Apprentices in different trades, viz. – Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, MMTM, Painter, Ref & AC Mech., Welder and Foundryman. NAVAL DOCKYARD APPRENTICES SCHOOL, VISAKHAPATNAM INVITES APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT OF TRADE APPRENTICES IN DIFFERENT TRADES. TOTAL VACANCIES – 185 Nos. LAST DATE — 31/12/2015

 

Apprenticeship Training Trade and Number of vacancies as per trade wise –

One year Training (2016 -17 Batch)
(i) Electrician: 35 Nos.
(ii) Electronics Mechanic: 25 Nos.
(iii) Fitter: 30 Nos.
(iv) Instrument Mechanic: 18 Nos.
(v) Machinist: 20 Nos.
(vi) Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance: 06 Nos.
(vii) R & AC Mechanic: 18 Nos.
(viii) Painter (General): 12 Nos.
(ix) Welder (Gas & Electric): 18 Nos.

Two year Training (2016 – 18 Batch)
(i) Foundryman: 03 Nos.

Reservation of vacancies as per SC/ST, OBC, PH, Ex-serviceman will be as norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Educational Qualification: SSC/Matric/ Class 10 pass boys and girls with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks AND ITI (NCVT) in relevant trades with minimum 65% marks (aggregate) may apply.

 

Candidates should meet the following Physical Standards:-
(i) Height – 137 cms.
(ii) Weight – Minimum 25.4 Kg.

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Born between 15-04-1995 to 15-04-2002 (inclusive of both dates). For SC/ST candidates – 15/04/2015 to 15/04/2002.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of marks obtained in class 10/Matric exam and ITI. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Written Examination and on basis of written examination, they will be called for Interview.

Written Examination will be on dated 16th Feb, 2016 (tentatively)

 

Stipend during Training Period: Rs.7036/- and Rs.7916/- per month for first year and second year respectively.
