Educational Qualifications:

(i) For posts at SI- 1 to 15: Matriculation or equivalent with knowledge of English and should have completed Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by National Council of Vocational training.

(ii) For Posts at SI-16 to 23: Matriculation or equivalent with knowledge of English and should have completed Apprenticeship. Training in the Trade at Dockyard Apprentice School of Indian  Navy and holding National Apprenticeship Certificate issued ‘by National Council of Vocational training.

(iii) For the post at SI-24: Candidates should be 10th Standard pass.

 

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scales (For all above posts/discipline): Rs-5200/- Rs-20200 and Grade Pay – Rs-1900/- and for Trade men mate Grade pay Rs-1800/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Candidates Selection will be through Written Examination /Trade Test/Interview etc. Test will be hold at Port
Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
