Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is recruiting 38 Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant and Lab Attendant on direct recruitment basis in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in the States of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Educational requirement as per post and brief details are given below —

1. Staff Nurse (Female): 7 Nos. (Gen—5; PH-OH—2)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and 03 years Diploma/ Certificate course in Nursing OR B.Sc (Nursing). Candidates must be registered with Indian/ State Nursing Council as well as shall have practical experience of two years in a Hospital/ Clinic.
Age: between 18 to 35yrs.

2. Catering Assistant: 6 Nos. (Gen—5; PH-OH—1)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent or equivalent and 03 years Diploma in Catering or equivalent OR Class 12 pass or equivalent and one year Diploma in Catering or equivalent with 3yrs experience in the field.
Age: between 18yrs to 35yrs.

3. Lab Attendant: 25 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—8; PH-OH—3)
Qualification: Middle Pass with General Science
Age: between 18yrs to 30yrs.

Upper age relaxation: Age mentioned above will be taken as on 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply shall pay Application Fee of Rs.500/– in form of Demand Draft payable at State Bank of India, Boring Road Branch (Code No.01435), Patna (Bihar) drawn in favour of – Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Regional Office, Patna.
