NCSM Assistant Recruitment Post Details
Office Assistant Gr. III
- Vacancy: 4 posts
- Education: Higher Secondary or equivalent with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 25 years.
- Pay: Pay Matrix – Rs.19,900-63,200/- (Level 2) plus allowances.
Technical Assistant-A (Civil)
- Vacancy: 2 posts
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years).
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Pay: Pay Matrix – Rs.29,200-92,300/- (Level 5) plus allowances.
NCSM Assistant Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process at the National Council of Science Museums involves multiple stages. Initially, applications are reviewed to ensure completeness and adherence to eligibility criteria. Depending on the position, candidates may undergo a typing test for Office Assistant Gr. III roles. Shortlisted applicants may then be invited for a written test or interview. Final selection is based on performance in these assessments, as well as fulfillment of all eligibility requirements.

NCSM Assistant Recruitment Application Fees
The application fee for these positions is Rs. 885.00, comprising Rs. 750.00 as fees and Rs. 135.00 as 18% GST. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid via Demand Draft from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “National Council of Science Museums” payable at Kolkata, or through online transfer/e-remittance to the bank account of NCSM. Women candidates and individuals belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempt from paying the application fee.

NCSM Assistant Recruitment How to Apply
To apply, fill in the prescribed format and attach self-attested copies of certificates. Ensure to affix a passport-size photo. Pay the Rs.885.00 fee via Demand Draft or online transfer, exempt for certain categories.
