North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) – Recruitment of 13 Constable, Mali, Etc. Last Dt. 27/10/2014

North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) is recruiting 13 posts of Constable, Mali, Farash and Mess Servant on temporary basis. Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies shall submit their application form on prescribed format along with testimonials. Education Qualification norms and brief details are given below:-

 

NORTH EASTERN POLICE ACADEMY (NEPA) REQUIRES 13 CONSTABLE, MALI, FARASH AND MESS SERVANT ON TEMPORARY BASIS. WALK IN DATE – 27/10/2014

1. Constable (General Duty): 6 Nos. (Gen-3; OBC-2 and SC-1)
Educational Qualification: 10th/ Matric pass from a recognized Board.

2. Constable (Motor Transport): 2 Nos. (Gen-1; & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: 10th /Matric Pass and must have valid driving license for light or Heavy vehicle.
Experience: Candidates also have 3 yrs experience in driving and fair knowledge in vehicle maintenance.

3. Constable (Transport Mechanic): 2 Nos. (Gen-2)
Educational Qualification: 10th/Matric Pass with Diploma in Motor Mechanism and must have valid driving license for light/ medium and heavy vehicle.
Experience: 2 yrs experience in vehicles repairs and must have qualified in trade test.

4. Mali: 1 Nos. (Gen-1)
Education Qualification: Primary standards pass and should qualify in trade test.

5. Farash: 1 Nos. (Gen-1)
Education Qualification: Primary standards pass and should qualify in trade test.

6. Mess Servant: 1 Nos. (Gen-1)
Education Qualification: Class VII pass and should qualify in trade test.

 

Pay Scale (for all above mentioned posts): Rs.5200 to Rs.20, 200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Age Limit: Candidates should be 18 to 27 yrs for Constable and 18 to 25 for rest of the vacancies. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST-5yrs, OBC-3yrs and others govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Trade Test, Physical Standard test, Physical Efficiency test, Medical Examination and Driving Test.

 

Physical Standard (for Constable only):
Height-165cms
Chest (Expanded/Unexpanded)-84cms/79cms)

Physical Efficiency Test for Constable (General Duty):
(i) Race- 1600mtrs in 6 minutes.
(ii) Long Jump- 11 feet (3 chances given)
(iii) High Jump-3½ feet (3 chances given)

Physical Efficiency Test (Motor Transport) & Constable (Motor Transport Mechanic).
(i) Race- 1000 mtrs in 5 minutes.
(ii) Long Jump-11 feet (3 chances given)
(iii) High Jump-3 ½ feet (3 chances given)

Note: Driving Test is for constable MT only and Trade Test is for MT Mechanic, Mali, Farash & Mess Servant.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties
